Dear darkness

Does someone know how to change the header of my blogg? I feel I need a bit of a change...

Every day is getting darker, and I have decicions to make, things to do. But I just want to hide under a warm blanket and sleep through winters bitterness. No more cold or dark. I don't want this any more. Why am I in this cold country!? 6 months until it starts getting warmer... What am I doing here?

I really miss the summer. Summer nights always have that potential. Like you could do anything you desire. Everything is possible. I took these pictures this summer. My favourite kids that I babysit sometimes. (except for the newly born.) Oh yeah...And I don't babysit my boyfriend either... I am quite proud of the first pic actually...

Daniel Eyre

So yesterday I went out with my friend Peter. A friend called Jeanette was celebrating her birthday, so we went and said hi. And after that the party continued at my place, until 7 in the morning that is. Jesus. YEah so I was a bit hungover today, and had completely forgot I was going to meet up with Tomas and pose fore his project. http://photoboy.se/ So I was a bit hungover, but it went well. We shot at Erstaviksbadet, the same place where I had a photo shoot with Sanna a couple of weeks ago, though not at the exact same location. I am actualy invited to a prty tonight that Tomas and his friend Joakim (who is also a photographer) are trowing. Not sure if I'm going to go though. I feel quite tired. But it would be fun...

Yesterday I met up with an equaintance -Daniel Eyre. Its quite strange we have been friends now on facebook for ages and never really met. he is a friend of a friend, kind of. I used to see him now and again when he worked at my local film rental. Before I moved that is. Anyways, Daniel is amazing at fiddeling around with photoshop. I love his work and have always ben comenting on his pictures. So we spontaniously met up yesterday. Took a walk and took some photos. It's nice to have someone as company when you are outr walking. Where The Wild Roses Grow

Absolutely stunned! I have just got the 4 first pictures from Sanna from our photo shoot inspired by "Where The Wild Roses Grow". I can hardly believe it is me in the photo's... Wow!
It was great fun making these pictures. The photo shoot involved lying around in the lake which was soooo cold. I'm guessing between 12-15 degrees Celsius. So now I am home with a terrible cold and playing Dragon Age all day. But as you can see by the photos: IT WAS WORTH IT! :)

Where The Wild Roses Grow, backstage.

I must be the most impatient person in the world. I love secrets, but I always destroy them for myself. If anyone is keeping a secret I can taunt that person forever, guessing and guessing. I have even as a grown up opened my birthday presents before my birthday, and then packed them up again so I can open them again later... I am terrible at this. I am really good at keeping secrets though. I am not the one that blabbes. The problem is I never get surprises, because people know I always destroy them. But I love surprises! My dream is that someone will one day organize a surprise party for me... Every year at my birthday I hope for this to happen...
Anyhow. Just realized it is only two days since the photo shoot with Sanna. It feels like ages... I know it takes time to fix the photos. And I keep telling myself this but it doesn't work on me. :S

Well well... We had a great day anyway. Saturday. I'm amazed how long time everything takes. Time just run through your fingers and all of a sudden it's dark! Well that probably means we had a good time though doesn't it? Untill I get some photos I'll keep you satisfied with some backstage pics! :) (Or keep me satisfied, not sure...)We started out at my place and Jenny did the makeup. This is NOT a good picture of me though. I always get what I call The Skaleman Throat. Skaleman is a tortuous from Bamse. Just google ok. You Swedes will know though...Sanna fell in love with my cats. Well who doesn't? They are quite charming I must admit. Well, most of the time anyway... These photos are of course taken by the great artist herself. Not by me that is. ;) This is my cat Saskia. (aka Saskiaboll, bollen, bullen, bullbit and so on. As we say: "Kärt barn har många namn")This is my cat Samson (aka Samsonit, Niten, Svanson) licking his precious non existing balls. Charming...We arrived at our location (Erstaviksbadet) and met this young man. Felix. He is a photographer too and helped out Sanna with some of the technical stuff. I had baked some cookies, so the first thing we did was eat a couple and drink some coffee in the sun. Very nice. I was verry up for a swim at this point. Kind of changed my mind later though... but it was fun. :) (And cold!)The lake....Clearing up the scenery. Beer cans and stuff. Jenny is holding on to me so I don't trip and die. Which of course I did anyway. But that was sort of the whole point...Balancing away over underwater tree trunks and goo... Trying not to fall...My rebirth. Very wet and very cold... Jenny helps me undress and dress.The great artist herself! (And me putting on my bra in the background. Nice.)Group pics! Sanna, Jenny, me & Felix.

So also, I have to make up for my bad mood last night. I was all moaning about school. anways the girl I so claimed that I hated turnd out to be ok today. Well she was still a bit of a selfish bitch, but she is actually quite funny. We even made it to the tube together and talked about politics!

Problem is, she is that type of gal that is much smarter then she appears to be. She acts (and is) like a complete bimbo, which makes her seem more stupid then she actually is. I hate when women do that. It happens all to often.

We are one another s complete opposites. But that kind of makes us get along in a strange way. Weird how life twists and turns...

She is also the first person my own age that I've met that admits that she does botox to her lips! This is so weird. Botox ios not even on my world map. I would never ever ever touch a thing like that.

Anyways, that was that.

Also I am doing a photo shoot on Saturday with Sanna http://colormeonce.blogspot.com/ inspired by the music video for "Where the wild roses grow" It will be cooooold...but great fun! Sanna is a great photographer and I have no doubts at all that the pictures will turn out fantastic! :)

Mkay... so... I decided to uppload some photos before they get to old...

These Pictures are by Peter Ljungkvist ( http://www.plf.se/ )and were taken sometime in June. They are taken just next door to where I work... I was a bit nervous that my boss would walk by or something. ;) It was great working with Peter. I was a bit nervous to begin with because I hadn't done a photo shoot in a long long time..

The photos didn't turn out to be quite what I expected. I intended on a pure fashion photo shoot, but instead they turned out like calm portraits. When I say I expected something else it does NOT mean that I am at all disappointed. I think these photos are wonderful and Peter is a truly great photographer. But I must say I haven't done a lot of fashion shooting. Whenever I try it doesn't really go my way. Mainly because I chose photographers that want to do fine art instead... Which like I said I really enjoy doing. But I feel I should try something else to get more experience in different fields. Any advice? I think a good place to start is to find a cool make up artist that I can work with. I have worked with a couple that have been really good and nice and everything, but I think we need to have the same visions and be able to cooperate more. Well well...

Fantasy Calender

Just got back from a photo shoot for a fantasy calender with Joakim Nerén. This is the second shoot I´m doing for this calender. The first time the theme was vampires, this time gorgons, you know like Medusa from Greek mythology. She had snakes instead of hair.. I am now waiting for the pictures to arrive.. But they are far from finished. The next step is for the grafic designer Cindy Grundsten (http://www.cindyartdesign.se/)to work with them. She is absolutely amazing! The picture is not mine but belongs to Cindy. It is beautiful. Can't wait to see the pictures for the calender. The calender will be published for next year. But I´ll remind you before then. I promise. /G

A Tigroness Fantasy...

At last I have got the lovely pictures from Evguenia. It has been worth the waiting I can tell you. There is a lot of work behind them. I am really impressed. Can you see it's me? I mean I can see it, but I don´t know if others can. I am the Tigroness a cross between tiger and lion.

A lot of working lately, and school work. I am writing a short story for school that I am rely pleased with. I will publish it when it is finished. But you will have to wait a while. When I send it to my teacher he runs it through a database to see that I havn´t stolen it from somewhere. It would be kind of ironic if that database found my blog and thought I'd stolen it from here...

Short update...

So my birthday came and went. I gave in for Popdakar, the music festival I wrote about. We had a picnic and it was really nice weather. I dug up all my old mix tapes and played a few. Later in the evening a couple of us went to see DAF. I had a wonderful day but I don´t really feel any older... I´ve already adapted to the thought of being 22.

Today I started writing a novel that I have to write for school. Very John Ajvide-esque if I whould say so my self. I havn´t written that much yet though. But I´ve really got the story going in my head. Actually quite impressed with myself. It was a long time since I wrote any stories... Well I still havn´t written it. But I´m on the go. I´ve got tons of schoolwork to do before midsummer so there won´t be much time for updates unfortunately. Otherwise looking forward to shooting with Alexander (http://alexanderbergstrom.blogspot.com) sometime soon...


The photographs are from a photo shoot I had with Johan Margulis this spring. My hair has grown a lot since then. I´m trying to get it long, I havn´t had long hair since I was in 8th grade and got home and took out the kitchen scissors...

Sanna Skerdén

Summer is coming and my time still seems to be running short. After all these performances with the theater (that went great by the way!) I´ve got a whole load of work to do. And I need to find something to do during summer. Lately i´ve been working weekends as I go to school during the weekdays, but now I have to find a proper job for the summer, which I should have done ages ago, but time sort of ran through my fingers. It is already summer. But I´ve got a couple of leads.. we´ll see...

Today I have been rehearsing with Daltone. A Swedish rapper who is having his record release on Tuesday (1st of June). I am singing on one of his songs on the record and will be playing with him on the release night at Pet Sounds Bar. I enjoy it even if it isn´t really my type of music. A apreciate a lot of hip hop, but I don´t really listen to it. But it´s fun!

These pictures are from last summer. The second time in my life that I did modeling. The photographer is a really nice girl called Sanna Skerdén. I love her work and am really impressed by it. Also I think the world needs more good female photographers. There doesn´t seem to be many out there. I´d love to model for her again. Some of her stuff is really amazing.
