One of my assignments for school is to get my portfolio together. So I thought I'd give you a couple of pics if you are interested...

Silencio

Forgot to mention. While at my grandparents we went through a couple of my gran's old clothes. It is SO depressing! I always loved her dressed and her shoes. But my gran was the slimmest thing in the whole wide world. I used to be able to get in her dresses when I was like 15, but now I cant. And all her shoes are size 39, and I take a 40-41. My sister was with me, and all the clothes and shoes fit her. :( She went home with 5 pairs of new shoes!!!! Lovely lovely old beautiful shoes. The way they aren't made any longer. I am SO jealous! I know it is impossible for me to have a body of a 16 year old. But things like this just makes me hate it. It sucks to be the oldest. I am 6 years older than the older one and 8 years older than the younger one. They will always be younger and more beautiful. I am dead serious. I hate it.

Had a great evening at Sanna's any way. Took me ages to get home though. Thank you for a fab evening!

Here are a couple of pictures I took for school the other evening. And yes, the first one is my stunning ashole of a sister who stole all the shoes! (Sorry hun, I know you can't help it. Love you anyway. <3)
Not really too happy about the photos. I was what we in Sweden call a "klant" and had the highest ISO on my camera. Didn't notice that until later and by then I was cold and tired and heading for a coffee. The last picture was just a test shot when I was testing the light. It is quite dark, but I sort of liked that. I love Pearls red hair, the problem is that it makes the face look red too. And I'm not that good at photshop... So when is the crash course Sanna?

So now I fixed my computer, the card reader and what now?

Well it seems like since I re-installed windows I don't have Photoshop any more. HAPPY DAYS!
I tried working with Gimp, but it's hard to learn a new program, even if it is a bit like photoshop. GAAAAH! The frustration!

Autumns almost gonne, and I've hardly had time to take any photos.

Today is headache day. Woke up with a headache, still have a headache. So I bought one of my favourite bottles of wine for tonight, Gnarly head. Haha.

I just want to go to bed. This is bad. :(

Summer rain

I really miss the summer. Summer nights always have that potential. Like you could do anything you desire. Everything is possible. I took these pictures this summer. My favourite kids that I babysit sometimes. (except for the newly born.) Oh yeah...And I don't babysit my boyfriend either... I am quite proud of the first pic actually...

Gillar inte: Att jag inte vet hur jag skall hinna klart med allt skolarbete och att vi inte har varmvatten i huset idag. Behöver en dusch.

Senast lästa bok: Svenska Kulter av Anders Fager, men jag har inte läst ut den än, det är en samling skräcknoveller. :)
Senast stora händelse: Höjd hyra med 1000kr till nästa månad. Den största ilskan och ångesten av dem alla. Jahap, det var skatteåterbäringen då... :(

The sun is shining... The summer is here for REAL! Two more days of schoolwork, then I have to be finished, can´t see how I will be. But I will.. Really looking forward to when all this is over, the weekend, midsummer's eve with all my friends... Last midsummer's was the best I ever had, I hope this one will be as good. It´s not always easy organizing it all but I think we got in the routine from last year. We buy pickled herring, nubbe, bread, salad, potatoes and vickning and stuff for lunch for everyone (They all get a receipt on how much they pay for all the stuff) and everyone brings what they want to grill for the evening. I woke up this morning with a dream that I was out at a party with all my friends, everyone was there, and I just couldn't be a part of it cause I had so much to do. When I got back to the party everyone was having the time of their lives, and they had already been there for a couple of hours so people where starting to get drunk and I was completely sober and not at all in a party mood. I think that's how I feel right now, that I am left over and can't join the party because I've got so much to do. Tonight I would LOVE to see John Grant at Strand. Check out his song Queen of Denmark. It is SO GOOD. It just makes me want to cry and scream. It is that kind of song that makes you feel bad. small an vulnerable but still makes you feel stronger. It's beautiful. I love the way how he experiments with his music, it was long since I heard something new that good. (Or is he new? I don't know, but he´s new to my ears.)

Photographing a project on food for school, pretty boring, but I can say there are worse ways of studying than sitting at Restaurant Landet in Telefonplan having cocktails, starters and desert! The other pictures are of the restaurant. I strongly recommend you to go and eat there the price is medium. Not very cheap but not that expensive. Though I should say, the food is absolutely fantastic.Well worth the price.

School stuff...

School work and house cleaning today. Also I heard from Jonas that he has been to town to develop the pictures in colour . Looking forward to Wednesday when i get to see them...

Also I got a phone call from Emanuelle saying that the Swedish ABC-News will be coming to our rehearsal tomorrow!!! So watch the big box! :)

Just realized that my computer wants me to write in American English, which is pretty annoying...

Had a row over the e-mail with one of my teachers. I´m taking an internet course in Literature, and have been trying to get hold of him for ages. At last I have, and he claims that the address which I´ve been writing to has been down for years. But I got an e-mail from that very same address welcoming me to the course... And that was a month ago! I hate it when teachers take things personally, I just want help and answers to my questions, that´s all. And if it is an internet course as this is, it would be helpful to have the right e-mail address... FRUSTRATION

And! On top of that, one of my windows has cracked! Don´t know how it happened because I´ve never even opened it. When we moved in to our apartment one of the other windows were cracked in the same way, and we were the first to even live here. So I´m thinking maybe they´ve been cheating when they´ve been building the place?

Skola...

Så just nu läser jag Foto B på komvux. Det är en hemsk kurs. Mest för att jag redan kan allt och för att det finns idioter i min klass som spenderar/slösar hela lektionen på att fråga och inte förstå vad skillnaden på ett montage och en manipulation är. Hm...gick tidigare från skolan idag pga denna diskussion... Tidigare har jag i alla fall haft Love och Niklas i min klass att prata med och utbyta menande blickar med när lektionerna blir för långtråkiga. Men de har slutat dyka upp för att de tycker lektionerna är så tråkiga. Man kan nämnligen "jobba hemifrån" om man mailar in och säger det. Borde kanske göra det jag med, men det har hänt att jag faktiskt missat viktiga saker när jag gjort det tidigare. Nåväl, det är bara två veckor kvar på kursen... Jag måste bara komma på någonting att fota till mitt slutprojekt, det skall vara dokumentärfoto.

Bilderna är av på min syster Clara, fotade av mig som slutprojekt till Foto A. Jag föredrar utomhusbilder framför studio egentligen, men jag är inte så bra på det än. Blev rätt nöjd med dessa bilder, dock insåg jag i efterhand att det kanske var lite platt ljus, men Clara gör en exceptionell prestation!
